At the end of August, I vacationed with my family in Italy. There are many things I love about the country, and wine is definitely one of them. This photo is of a Sangiovese grape used to make Brunello wine. This grape grows in Montalcino, located in Tuscany, one of the world’s greatest wine regions. Wine grapes are geographically driven by climate, hours of sunlight, topographical features, proximity to water, and so on. This region’s greatness comes from how the earth lends itself to the growth of the grape. The land itself makes the wine what it is.

Why does this matter to real estate? I fully believe that the inhabitants of a place are a product of their environment, and the quality of the product comes directly from the land. When looking for a place to live, you want to take into account what makes a space not just livable, but what is the best environment for you to grow into. Where you choose to live lends to who you become.
